And Who Gave Them The Permission In The First Place ??

Thursday the 13 of August Channel 2 in Israel showed in its news a live report from the Zabaleen area in Egypt where the garbage collectors live.

The report was all about the poor ghetto of the Zabaleen “watch the term used” where the Christian garbage collectors “this term was used too “  lived in poverty collecting garbage for decades in Cairo ; these collectors are currently suffering after the decision to cull all pigs by the orders of “the Islamic authority”. The report hinted to how the Church of Deir Saman was the cleanest place in the area.

With my all respect may I know who and why the Egyptian authorities gave the Israeli TV the permission to shoot this segment in Cairo in this particular area in the first place ??

You must know that any TV station whether Egyptian or not must have a permission to shoot in the street if I am not mistaken.

What makes me more angry is that some people from the garbage collectors agreed to speak to the Israeli TV , do not tell they have the right to do so after what they had done to them ,they were compensated by the government where as the poultry raisers have not been compensated as they should up till now. Do not tell me “so what ?? you are now in Peace “ , well I will tell you that this Israeli TV crew did not come to spread peace here I am afraid , they are trying to spread sectarian division and those people are helping them and by helping them they are weakening their position and losing their rights to be supported.

Of course Ch2 in the Israeli TV does not dare to speak about the Arab minority in Israel nor it does speak about the war crimes in the ghetto sector aka Gaza !!!

Now regarding the Ch 2 in the Israeli TV , it makes me wonder how they dare to criticize that Islamic authority that saved the Israeli Ambassador from a terrible assassination as it was claimed !!!!???

I do not understand why the Israeli TV is picking on us despite the fact that our government is from their few friends in the region , may be they like the government but they do not like us , the people !!

Again I hope someone tell who and why were they given a permission!!??

  1. Shooting on streets and making interviews are illegal? After the decision "kill all the pigs" I am actually not surprised by anything.

    What could go wrong indeed.

  2. Wow, looks like someone is a tad bit jealous of you, Zeinobia! You should check out the novel "John" has written on his blog in response to your post. I think "John" is angry since no one reads or comments on his blog.

  3. John,

'Islamic terrorism' is not that much worse than Zionism and the heinous crimes against humanity committed by God's chosen people. Maybe you should start focusing on your own country's problems which I hear you have plenty of, instead of obsessing with us. A good start would be to stop supporting the systematic ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by giving them their basic human rights and lands back. I am sure that the pigs, I mean the Palestinians, would appreciate your efforts.

I advise you to learn how to write objectively, that's if you are ever interested in having real people reading your blog. Because right now, your hatred towards Muslims is as transparent as glass, which makes your concern for the pigs as fake as the dollar bill. Or should I say, the shekel?

  4. wow!

'Shooting on streets and making interviews are illegal? ' yes in any major city in the world you need a permit!

equating zealots with each other be it jewish, christian, muslim, hindu or even buddhist will serve no purpose! the 'zabaleen' have opened there doors to many news agencies in the past. and always the focus is on the filth and squalor they live in.

BUT what these documentaries always fail to show is that LIVING LIKE THAT IS OF THEIR OWN CHOOSING! they also fail to mention that their business is a highly LUCRATIVE ONE, that brings in LOTS OF MONEY whether it be recycling goods or feed for pigs.

these documentaries are always biased and portray the 'poor zabaleen' as an oppressed people by a very bad islamic government! WHICH IS A TOTAL FARCE!!!!!!!!

ask a zabal to switch to selling mobiles and he will LAUGH at YOU!

"A good start would be to stop supporting the systematic ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by giving them their basic human rights"

A good start would be to accept The Universal Declaration of Human rights when you demand some human rights. - neither a single one Islamic law school nor any Arabic country has done so.

When you talk about some ethnic cleansing, please check some pro-Palestinian institutes.

  6. @John , this is an old decision regardless of what you think about , already many reporters in Egypt complain from this decision. My dear there is a huge difference I believe you understand between tourists and professional journalists. I think many countries in the world follow the same procedures ,you must take the permission of the state before you go reporting live

@Banoota, let him speak as he wants it is a free world , by the way what does he thinks about the theft of Palestinian organs by the IDF ??

@ahmed in NYC, totally agree with u

My firends did not need any permission in London from the UK gov. Only thing they needed was Wembly Stadium permission from the stadium owner (they were shooting there).

Neither I did need any permission for professional shooting in another big European city Prague.

And you would be quite surprised thought as I am a meber of an institute which supported publishing of Mein Kampf and abolishment of the Holocaust Denial Law, which were created here just when the German occupation had ended. In the end those laws support more holocaust deniers than "anti-holocaust deniers"

  8. sounds to me like wembly stadium is privately owned so the 'government' would most likely lack jurisdiction over the premises. and obviously your
friend HAD TO OBTAIN PERMISSION from the owner.

as for the holocaust comment----i can't believe you are boasting such pernicious ideas, but in the end this is a free forum!
