Ramdan’s Arabian Nights : King Luqman And Salama’s Tale "Ep.8"

Here is the 8th night from our Arabian nights or to be accurate our 10th night.

First, you can refresh your memory with the last night's episode.

We are still with Salama for the 7th night in a row.

You can hear the rest of his tale right after the break.

The first night from Dalziels' Illustrated Arabian Nights.
The first night from Dalziels' Illustrated Arabian Nights.

By the way, as you can see in this tale the Moroccan brothers from Fes, a very faraway location from Persia.

The Moroccan brothers are sorcerers, another thing which is Morocco infamous allegedly in Egypt for is magic and its sorcerers.

Also here you are being presented for the first time to King Solomon's ring aka Seal of Solomon, a repeated theme in the nights.

King Solomon’s ring in our folklore is just like the legendary King Solomon’s Mines in the Western folklore, it is like Aladdin’s magical lamp but more powerful considering the belief that it was owned by King Solomon who ruled over humans and djinns.

The Solomon’s ring reminds me of the one ring in Tolkien's  LOTR.

Till we meet tomorrow night inshallah.
