#Ramadan Arabian Nights 2017 : Princess Sea Pearl "Ep.25", "EP.26", "EP.27" and "EP.28"

Arabian nights by DulacFirst, Happy Eid in advance.
Second, we are getting close to the end of Ramadan as well the end of our tale for this year, the tale of Princess Sea Pearl.
Now, we stopped at the Twenty-third Night in the previous post. Sadly enough I could not find Episode twenty-four anywhere online even at the Egyptian State Radio's archives.

Nevertheless, based on the previous episodes and the upcoming episodes I can tell you that it is about that second meeting between Princess Sea Pearl and Hamal Al-Asya where they will fall in the love.

I can tell you also that in Episode 396 of the Radio Arabian nights show that Princess Sea Pearl marries Hamal Al-Asya and as she becomes a human, she loses her memory.

Third, here are our episodes for tonight.

Episode 397 or Twenty-Fifth night

Episode 398 or Twenty-Sixth night

Episode 399 or Twenty-Seventh night

Episode 400 or Twenty-eighth night

We will continue our adventure with Princess Sea Pearl and her husband Hamal Al-Asya.
BY the way, I think that that tale was recorded in the late 1950s and 1960s as part of it speaks about greedy landlords and poor farmers led by Hamal Al-Asya who decides to stand against the landlords.
In the late 1950s , we had the nationalization and land ownership redistribution laws and radio became a very important tool of propaganda.
Good night :)

  1. When I was little my mother gave me a record (vinyl) with Arabian Nights stories in English, which I listened to over and over again. The accompanying music was exactly the same, even down to this specific old recording. I still remember Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

  3. Most Respectful ZEINOBIA//Thank you for the 1001 nights recordings, listening to them brought back sweet memories from 1960s and beyond,we used to listen to them ...as we did listen to other radio sitcoms from Egypt...AS our Lebanese Radio was 1 STATION in those days,& rarely had such intresting episodes... Only ABU MELHEM (Late ADIB HADDAD)+ Mohamad SHAMEL & Shou-Shou>(Late Mr.HASSAN ALADDIN) Also>BIFREG'HA ALLAH from Late actress Madam NADIA HAMDY + Late departed Mr.GEORGES IBRAHIM EL KHOURY(Editor in chief of Lebanese AL SHABAKA cinema weekly magazine for at least 5 decades?") JUST 10 MINUTES LONG &IN THE MORNINGS/repeated in the afternoons/My Late Mother was a follower of it every morning,SHE loved them both!!So we had no choice but to tune to Egypt's Radio HONA AL CAHEERA and SAWT EL ARAB...WHEN Leb.television progs.were somehow..boring SOMETIMES & FOR limited hours too in the early 1960s? I do adore the opening tune of THE ALF LEILA WA LEILA/1oo1 Arabian Nights, even though the beginning of it is taken from CLASSICAL INFAMOUS MUSIC by RUSSIAN RIMSKY KORSAKOV's(SCHEHRAZADE)?followed by sweet short song in Arabic/those were our HAPPY & Innocent days...Thank you indeed EGY.Chronicles for making us regain our youth by tuning to THEM..again?! GOD bless Zeinobia and hope this AMAZING blog followers ENJOY them as we did..,once,& many decades ago and even now-days i enjoyed it!!Regards from:Is'hak Barsoumian or(Mr.NostalgiA/London July 03/2017 12:10 Midnight/G.Britain
